Sikandar Secures 165 Crore Deal, Recovers 80% of Budget Before Release—Salman Khan's Film Sets New Record

Salman Khan’s upcoming action-packed film Sikandar has already made headlines with a massive 165 crore non-theatrical deal. The movie, which stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman, has secured major digital, satellite, and music rights, covering most of its production cost even before hitting theatres.

According to reports by Pinkvilla, Sikandar has signed a post-theatrical streaming deal with Netflix for 85 crore. If the movie crosses 350 crore at the box office, this amount may increase to 100 crore. Additionally, the satellite rights were sold to Zee for 50 crore, while the music rights fetched 30 crore via Zee Music Company. The total non-theatrical revenue is projected to reach 180 crore, significantly reducing the financial risk for the makers.

The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, has been made on a budget of 180 crore, excluding Salman Khan’s remuneration. The promotional and advertising expenses are expected to be around 20 crore. This means that the movie has already recovered over 80% of its total investment before its theatrical release, ensuring a safe bet for its producers.

The buzz around Sikandar is immense, especially with Salman Khan making a grand comeback in the action genre. Fans are excited to see his high-octane performance, and the Eid release only adds to the anticipation.
