In the latest development in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Times Now has gotten their hands on the late actor's personal diary.

While Sushant's Diary could be a crucial source of information, the news portal reported that 3 pages were torn from the diary and are missing. This has raised further questions into the investigation.

It is also being reported that the diary was found next to Sushant's body at his Bandra residence on June 14, when he passed away.

Sushant's friend and flatmate Sidharth Pithani, who was present in the house when the actor passed away was questioned regarding the missing pages from the diary. To which, Sidharth at first stated that he did not find any torn pages in Sushant’s room.

Further, Sidharth opened up about Sushant's diaries and said  that he’d seen Sushant write in his diary often, and the actor had even shared details about one diary in particular. “The diaries that Sushant had shared about, he had written about scientists and geniuses, and he wanted to invite them to his house and make a nice video so people could learn from them,” he said.

However responding to allegations that pages from his diary were missing, Siddharth said that Sushant had a habit of tearing pages from his diary.

"Sushant had a habit of tearing pages if he didn’t like what he’d written. I’m sure people will find missing pages in more books also" Pithani said.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the recommendation of the Bihar Police.

The CBI has started probe in the case and has filed an FIR against 6 people including Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi, and others as accused.

They have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including abetment of suicide, criminal conspiracy, wrongful restraint/confinement, theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating and other offences.

The CBI has handed the case over to its Special Investigation Team (SIT) branch, which earlier investigated the high profile cases like Rs 3,600 crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal, and liquor baron Vijay Mallya bank fraud case. CBI Joint Director Manoj Sridhar will be leading the probe.
