Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan to be Summoned by NCB in Drug Case: Reports

The drugs angle emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death probe seems to be getting murkier day by day. Rhea Chakraborty who was in a relationship with the late actor has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau under various sections of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act including possession, purchase and transporting, financing illicit traffic and more.

During the interrogation with the NCB, Rhea Chakraborty has dropped some big A-lister names of the Bollywood industry who are allegedly related to the drugs cartel and are a part of consuming illegal drugs. Rhea had alleged that Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh, and Simone Khambatta used to do drugs with her and her late boyfriend, Sushant.

In the latest development, Aaj Tak reports that Sara Ali Khan will be summoned by the NCB and questioned in the drug case soon. Previously, Rhea had alleged that Sushant got hooked to drugs during the shooting of Kedarnath, which also marked the debut film for Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara.

Besides Sara, actress Shraddha Kapoor is also reported to have come under the lens of the NCB as her name has also been in the radar. Reportedly, the NCB will send summons to Shraddha for questioning in link to the drug angle. Shraddha Kapoor worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2019 hit film Chichhore.

Earlier today, Sushant Singh Rajput's former talent manager Jaya Saha and manager Shruti Modi were summoned by the NCB in connection with the case. 

The Narcotics Control Bureau is leaving no stone unturned in probing the drug angle linked to Sushant’s untimely demise. So far, a close to dozen people including  Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, and Sushant's house help Dipesh Sawant have already been arrested by the NCB.

During the interrogation, Rhea and her brother Showik have named several actors, directors and producers who are allegedly related to a drugs cartel. Close to 25 big Bollywood names have surfaced, out of which the names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh, Simone Khambatta, Shraddha Kapoor have come out in the public so far.
