As per the recent reports, the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) has cancelled permissions given for film and TV serial shootings in Goa given the Coronavirus cases. With the permissions now cancelled, there was a lot of chaos, especially given the fact that 9 TV shows are currently being shot in Goa. However, the teams will now have to return to Mumbai and wrap up while the hunt for new locations has already begun. Currently, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Tujhse Hai Raabta, Molkki, Bawara Dil and Qurbaan Hua are being shot in Goa.

During the lockdown announced earlier, Goa CM Pramod Sawant allowed the shootings to continue as they were being shot at villas and resorts. However, it is not the case anymore.

While talking to The Times of India, producer of Tujhse Hai Hai Raabta, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha and Qurbaan Hua,  Amir Jaffer mentioned how they have wrapped up the shoot and the producers will now have to return to Mumbai as they don't have an option anymore. He mentioned that they have a bank of episodes for a week now but will need to hunt for new locations as they need to look for places with a lesser crowd.

Antonio Costa, President of the All Goa Line Producers Association said, "Whatever scheduled shoots were taking place, have been put on hold, as of 1 pm on Thursday. They've packed up and some of them are planning to move to Daman or Diu, since these two union territories are still open. These are shoots that are being handled by the line producers registered with us. There are a lot of other shoots taking place, which do not go through the loop, and which we term as illegal. They are out of our control. Whichever shoots were in the control of ESG and our association have been cancelled."

Meanwhile, Neil Bhatt, lead actor of Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein revealed to the paper the daily that they haven't been informed about the wrap up yet and are still at the resort. Kundali Bhagya's Shraddha Arya, on the other hand, mentioned that she has heard about the rule, however, they haven't been told anything and shot for a few hours and are waiting for an official intimation.

gurl-enchanted 2 months ago Shoots must go on for the livelihood of people, especially the daily labour. In a country like ours, it isn’t possible for an association to support the cast and crew financially. There are just too many to support and industries are reeling under the pandemic already. They have to find a less crowded city and shoot there in a strict bio bubble.

kpop21 2 months ago If they do plan to shoot at other locations, they must create a strict bio bubble and refrain from shooting outside as much as possible. CINTAA should help workers financially.
