Shahid rescues Alia!

Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor share a great friendship and it has come very evident from the recent event.

Usually it's the Bhatt girl Alia who comes to rescue her dear friend Shahid whenever he falls into any puddle at the public events.

But, this time round the tables turned and it was Shahid who had to jump in to save his cute friend Alia from the media questions.

It so happened that Alia was asked about her alleged boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra's recent venture as New Zealand's Tourism Ambassador for India and also what she has to say about his new look.

But, Alia instead of answering the questions turned to Shahid and asked him to rescue her. She said, "Shahid I always come to your rescue today you please rescue me" and like a doting best friend Sasha came ahead and said, "Who Sidharth? We don't know any Sidharth and especially we have no idea about any Sidharth from New Zealand."

Well, that's indeed a sweet escape!
