Shaheer Sheikh to play the lead in Rajan Shahi's next; says the show's message resonates with me

Shaheer Sheikh collaborated with producer Rajan Shahi for Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and played the role of Abir Rajvanshi in the show. He managed to grab a lot of attention and love from the fans for the show and the role he plays. The show also gave immense popularity to the pair that was of Shaheer and Rhea Sharma.

Now, reports in Bombay Times have it that the actor has took on his next, another Rajan Shahi show. Though the actor wanted to take a break post his recent stint in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, the concept of the show had his attention.

Shaheer told the leading paper, “I wasn’t too keen on taking up anything that translated into a long-term commitment. However, when Rajan sir approached me, I had to consider it because I have had an amazing experience working with him and his unit on the previous show. It’s his passion project and the message he wants to impart through this show resonates with me.”

The actor also got talking about how life has changed after welcoming parenthood and said that things changed for good. He also added how when his daughter looks at him and smiles, he is left teary-eyed and it happens every single time.

He also added further how he has planned so many things since childhood, including how to raise his children and there is a lot he wants to do, however, he ahs set some ground rules for himself as a father and he would want to give his daughter the liberty to choose her own path. However, he concluded saying it is his responsibility to give her space and let her be able to do and choose whatever she wants to.
