A major fire broke out early Monday morning on the sets of Star Plus’ hit show Anupamaa, which is filmed in Mumbai’s Film City, Goregaon. The exact reason for the fire is still unknown, but visuals from the location suggest that the damage is quite serious. Huge parts of the set were seen burning, with thick smoke rising into the air. Firefighters and police quickly arrived at the scene to handle the emergency.

According to a report shared by IANS, five fire engines were immediately sent when the fire was reported. A video shared on Twitter shows flames spreading through the set while fire personnel work hard to bring the fire under control. Thankfully, there have been no reports of any injuries or loss of life.

Sharing the update on Twitter, IANS wrote, “Mumbai: A fire broke out early morning at the Anupamaa serial set in Mumbai’s Goregaon Film City. Five fire brigade vehicles responded promptly, and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters are actively working to control the blaze.”

The exact cause of the fire is still being determined."

He even added that, "It has also come to our notice that some gossip mongers are attempting to spread false news and misleading information. We sincerely request everyone not to believe in any rumours or unverified stories that may be circulating.
