As the much-anticipated release date of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Dunki, approaches, the excitement among fans is palpable. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the comedy-drama is expected to be SRK's third consecutive hit following the success of Pathaan and Jawan.

Dunki is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on December 21, and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given its nod of approval a week before the release. The film, with a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes (161 minutes), has been awarded a U/A certificate by the censor board.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the suggested cuts by the CBFC are minimal.

The board recommended the addition of anti-smoking health spots at the film’s beginning and just before the start of the second half. Additionally, a modification was made to a word in the opening scene, changing it to 'immigrants.'

An important scene in Dunki will feature a statutory warning stating, “Suicide is not a solution to any problems.” The filmmakers have provided documentary evidence for the statistics and facts mentioned at the end of the film

Starring Taapsee Pannu as the female lead, Dunki boasts a stellar cast including Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and others. Produced by Gauri Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, and Jyoti Deshpande, the film is set to clash with Prabhas-starrer Salaar at the box office on December 21.
