Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for Rajkummar Hirani's next

Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in 'Zero,' is gearing up for a comeback with a solid slate of films. He'll be seen in the upcoming film 'Pathan,' alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The actor is yet to make a formal announcement. According to recent reports, he is about to begin filming his next film with Rajkumar Hirani. 

According to reports, SRK will complete the filming of 'Pathan' this month. He'll begin shooting for Hirani's next film soon after the shoot is finished. 

According to Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh and Hirani have been wanting to work together on a project for quite some time. The duo is ecstatic about their first collaboration. The report further stated how a massive set resembling a Punjab village will be built in Mumbai's Filmcity studio, where the majority of the scenes will be shot. They will also travel to London and Budapest to complete the film's remaining scenes. 

SRK stepping into Hirani's world will undoubtedly be fascinating to watch. Taapsee Pannu is also said to be in talks to play the female lead. 

Meanwhile, SRK was scheduled to finish filming 'Pathan' in October of last year. The arrest of his son Aryan Khan, however, put everything on hold. Aside from that, the shooting was postponed due to an increase in Covid-19 numbers. Shah Rukh also has Atlee in the works, which is said to star Nayanthara.
