Actor and superstar Shah Rukh Khan definitely had a tumultuous 2021 to say the least. While his film commitments have been far away and it has now been three years without a release for the actor, he faced probably his biggest test in the past few months.
Khan's son Aryan Khan was embroiled in a drug case bust and controversy that went on for the longest time and that led to the superstar staying away from any public statements and social media in general. Now, after almost four months, Khan made his return to Instagram.
He dropped a commercial post featuring himself with his wife Gauri Khan which read, “Very few times you associate with a product that has such a harmony of art and technology.”
The ad video begins with SRK driving a swanky car to a bungalow where he makes himself comfortable with all the available amenities, including a couch, a rollable television and so on. It’s when Gauri Khan joins in and the couple enjoys watching TV on the couch.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CY5rRrRqp0B/Within three hours, the post has acquired over 9 lakh views with fans rejoicing to see King Khan back to social media. A fan took to the comment section and wrote, “The king is back, finally”. “Very happy to see your post. I love you” added another while someone else said, “Good to see SRK's post after so long... Love SRK always.”
For the uninitiated, Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after they raided an alleged rave party on a Goa-bound luxury cruise in Mumbai. After an initial NCB custody, the star son was lodged in Arthur Road jail. He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
While granting him bail on October 28, the HC had imposed a condition on him that he should appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau’s South Mumbai office every Friday to mark his presence. Later, the Bombay High Court exempted Aryan Khan from his weekly appearance before the NCB’s office.
