Shah Rukh Khan rents duplex for Rs 24 lakh monthly amid Mannat renovations; Gauri shares big update

Shah Rukh Khan, renowned for his acting prowess and iconic status, is currently residing in a rented duplex due to the ongoing renovation of his beloved home, Mannat. Gauri Khan, the interior designer and his wife, has revealed that the renovations are underway and are expected to be completed by 2026. This temporary move highlights the couple's commitment to maintaining their luxurious lifestyle while ensuring Mannat receives the necessary updates.

Gauri Khan, the designer behind Shah Rukh Khan's iconic home Mannat, provided an exclusive update on its renovation during a recent interview with News18. She confirmed that the revamp is in progress, with the anticipated completion of Mannat 2.0 slated for the coming year. This insight offers a glimpse into the ongoing transformation of one of Bollywood's most recognizable landmarks.

While Mannat undergoes renovation, Shah Rukh Khan and his family, including Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam, have moved into a luxurious rented duplex in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra. The family has leased two lavish duplex apartments in Puja Casa, owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani. This 3-year lease agreement is valued at a staggering Rs 8.67 crore, translating to a monthly rent of approximately Rs 24 lakh.

Gauri Khan has also rented a flat in Mumbai's Khar West for her staff during the renovation of Mannat, the Khan family's iconic home. Situated in Pankaj Society, a well-known residential area, the apartment is conveniently located, just 100 meters from a previously rented duplex.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in the highly anticipated film King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. This Siddharth Anand-directed project features a stellar ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Saurabh Shukla, among other prominent celebrities, all in significant roles.

King is scheduled for a theatrical release in the final quarter of 2026, specifically between October 1 and December 31. The film will showcase Shah Rukh Khan in the role of a deadly assassin, facing off against Abhishek Bachchan in a high-stakes confrontation.
