Sarwar Ahuja in a challenging role in Jyoti...

NDTV Imagine's Jyoti has found its male lead in Sarwar Ahuja who was the winner of Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj.

The young lad will be seen playing a blind man who will go on to play a very important part of the protagonist Jyoti's life.

We talked to the actor himself and he said, "Yes, I will be playing the lead character in Jyoti. He is a positive character who will change the present scenario in Jyoti's (Sneha Wagh) life".

Sarwar after winning Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj has managed to get many films. "After winning the coveted title, I did my first film Mr. and Mrs. Khanna. Now I am awaiting the release of my next film Meri Padosan. I have three more films in the pipeline", states Sarwar.

What made him take up the television show when he had many films in his wings? "I had never thought of doing a TV show, but when I got a call from Sphere Origin for this role, I decided to give my audition and try my best. Eventually I got selected for the role, and the fact that it was very challenging forced me to accept it", states the handsome lad.
