Gaye Mughal-e-Azam" will go on the floor from October end. The
shooting for the movie will commence by the end of October and will be shot in
an extensive 40-day schedule in the locales of Mumbai and . Sanjay has signed the duo of
Pyaar ke Side Effects- Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose along with KK Menon,
Zakir Hussain and comedy king Paresh Rawal for principal roles in the movie.After winning rave
reviews for his witty one liners & dialogues in the Salman Khan starrer
'Partner', Sanjay's next venture is being viewed with a lot of anticipation by
the industry. Having successfully directed two films, Khoobsurat and Kya Dil Ne
Kaha, Sanjay's forthcoming venture will be a romantic comedy with an element of
thriller in it.
"Maan Gaye
Mughal-e-Azam is an unusual contemporary comedy. It's a dhamaal film
with a lot of socio-political references, but not a mindless entertainer.
There's a purpose for everything that's depicted on screen," Chhel states.
He has also written the dialogues and lyrics for the movie. The multi talented Sanjay, has been a successful writer, director and lyricist for over a decade and has already left an indelible mark in the Hindi Film industry. Touted by the industry as "the king of one liners", his next project will be with Percept Picture Company as a writer cum director for their cross culture comedy Patel Punjabi.
