The news of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukjhe's termination from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" has come as a shock to all the show's fans. Directors Kut issued a press release revealing that Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami, the parallel lead and the male lead of the show, have been terminated due to problematic behavior on the sets.

India Forums reached out to Samridhii Shukla, the female lead of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," to discuss the matter, and the actress confirmed the news.
