The news of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukjhe's termination from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" has come as a shock to all the show's fans. Directors Kut issued a press release revealing that Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami, the parallel lead and the male lead of the show, have been terminated due to problematic behavior on the sets.
India Forums reached out to Samridhii Shukla, the female lead of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," to discuss the matter, and the actress confirmed the news. Speaking to us, an emotional Samridhii stated, ''Yes, the news of Pratiksha and Shehzada's termination is absolutely true. However, I would not like to comment on the matter right now.''

For those unaware, Samridhii and Shehzada portrayed the characters of Abhira and Armaan in the show. The show underwent a generation leap a few months ago, following which, the new cast was introduced. Pratiksha Honmukhe was also brought in during the same period.

Feel bad for samridhi, but she anyway was carrying the show pretty much on her shoulders so should be ok 👍 Also, these ph dared to do something which ghum hai show’s ph couldn’t during season 1 🤷♀️

Feeling bad for her, again Samridhii has to start working on her chemistry with the new male actor. She is a very good actor she'll pull it but difficult to say that whether the viewers will accept it or not.

I think Sam genuinely didn't care about off screen because she was foing her best and created chemistry with Sheh . Now she has to begin from scratch. But she's a good actor,she can do it.
