Samantha Ruth Prabhu unites with Varun Dhawan in Mumbai for a 14-day 'Citadel' shoot

Reportedly Samantha Ruth Prabhu has joined Varun Dhawan in Mumbai for the shoot of their upcoming film Citadel.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently announced on social media that she is undergoing treatment for the auto-immune condition Myositis. She had also stated that her recovery had taken longer than she had hoped. And hence she had taken a short break from work to recover. Well according to reports, Samantha will appear in Varun Dhawan's upcoming film 'Citadel India,' though no official announcement has been made.

The project is helmed by Raj and DK. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Samantha has now joined Varun for a two-week schedule of shoot in Mumbai. Varun had earlier finished four days of shoot without Samantha. The actor had shot for some intense action sequences. Also Varun had shared his bruised face from the sets on his Instagram story

During the promotion of her previous release, 'Yashoda,' Samantha had stated, that it is draining and tiring, but she has always been a fighter, and even this time she is going to fight. For the unversed,  'Yashoda' had been a big hit, and Samantha recevied accloade from all quarters.

Talking about Citadel, in the Indian version of the film Samantha and Varun play the lead roles. While the American series by Russo Brothers' will see Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra. After Citadel's first schedule, Samantha will be back soon on sets of Vijay Deverakonda co-starrer 'Kushi'.
