Zee's Dance India Dance gets its Biggest Dancing Star in Mohammad Salman...


Andheri Sports Club in Mumbai hosted the Grand Finale of Zee's Dance India Dance and it was a memorable nite for the thousands of spectators present there. With outstanding performances coming from the 18 contestants, mentors, Grand Master and the finalists, the 18 week long gruelling efforts of one and all paid off when the country got its first ever Dancing Star.

The winner of the Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi went to the favorite of all, Mohammad Salman, from Remo D'Souza Ke Rangeelay. Alisha, the girl from Ranchi was the first runner-up while Siddhesh Pai was the second runner-up. Jai Kumar Nair got the least votes among the finalists and was eliminated before the winner was announced.

Salman went on to win a cash prize of 50 lakhs, and the golden opportunity to feature in a song sequence of Boney Kapoor's next film 'Wanted'. The dance sequence will be shot tomorrow and Salman will get the honor of dancing with Bollywood's one of the biggest stars, Salman Khan in a song of the film. The film will be directed by the dancing sensation from South, Prabhu Deva. Remo the winning mentor was overcome with joy as his contestant's name was announced as winner.

Jeetendra and Mithun Da, the two big dancing sensations of yester years announced the winner and this brought to an end the fabulous and sensational show that enthralled all from day one.
