Salman Khan is all set to launch two new faces in Bollywood. After Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty and Aayush Sharma, the superstar will introduce his friend's son Zaheer Iqbal and Mohnish Behl's daughter Pranutan to the world this March. The first look posters of the film are out and everyone's intrigued about the same. Filmistan fame Nitin Kakkar is helming the project.
The trailer of the film launches next week but we have got first-hand information on the film. While many thought it's a remake of the Hollywood film of the same time, it's not! Instead, it's an official adaptation of a Thai drama. Says our source, "The makers had watched this film called Teacher's Diary and fallen in love with it. They took it to Salman who also decided to produce the film under his banner Salma Khan Films. They have taken the core idea and based it in the turmoils of Kashmir."
In the original, the two main characters - one who's a substitute teacher and falls in love with the girl over the series of stories he reads in her notebook - never meet. It's the same in Notebook too - Zaheer and Pranutan never cross paths in the film. Moreover, the team has beautifully designed it with the tribulations and complications that Kashmir is known for.
