A guy got nabbed by the cops for sneaking into Salman Khan's shoot location on Tuesday. When caught, he reportedly said, "Should I call Bishnoi?" The man has been escorted to the Shivaji Park police station for more interrogation. This incident adds to the security worries around the actor, given the string of threats in recent times.
In the midst of a rise in threats associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and his crew, who have previously aimed at Salman Khan due to purported issues tied to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, this incident unfolds.
Just a month ago, the actor got a threat regarding a song connecting his name to Lawrence Bishnoi, a jailed gangster. Mumbai's traffic control room received the threat message. The threat mentioned a song supposedly mentioning Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi, warning that the songwriter would face serious consequences within a month. “The songwriter’s condition will be such that he will no longer be able to write songs. If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save them," the threat message read.
In a recent crackdown, a 32-year-old chap named Bhikha Ram, also known as Vikram, was nabbed by the police in Haveri, Karnataka, for his connection to past threats against Salman. Originally from Jalore, Rajasthan, Bhikha Ram was handed over to Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
Salman Khan has been under tight security following death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, stemming from a prolonged feud tied to the unresolved 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Despite the lack of closure, Bishnoi persists in threatening the actor's life. The turmoil commenced when Salman was embroiled in the blackbuck killing during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, sparking a lengthy legal battle spanning over 26 years, marked by arrests, bail releases, and court decisions. In light of this legal saga, Bishnoi and his associates have openly menaced him.
Earlier this year, gunshots were fired outside Salman's Mumbai residence, escalating tensions after Siddique's murder. Recently, on October 27, 2024, members of the Bishnoi community burned effigies of Salman and his father, Salim Khan, in protest, fueled by what they perceived as misleading statements regarding the blackbuck case.
