Salman Khan set to start chain of theaters, Salman Talkies

It will be a set of six single screens, which will target low ticket prices.

Salman Khan has been thinking of having his own chain of theaters for a long time. Now news is abuzz that Salman has zeroed on two sea-facing properties in Juhu as well as Bandra, for the same.

A source close to Khan informed, "He is currently busy shooting for Kabir Khan's Tubelight. The details will be finalized when he returns from Manali next week." The business plan for Salman Talkies is on the way, the source told a leading daily, "He will be lending his name to a theatre chain to promote tax-free viewing. As of now six single screen across Maharashtra have been roped in. Tickets at his theatres will be available at low prices and will be free for children. He would be launching each screen personally."

the theatres will come along during Diwali, with the release of Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay. Salman also wishes to venture into the UP market by 2017.
