Salman Khan's fans are eagerly anticipating news about his next project, expressing a strong desire for him to announce the details of his upcoming film. Although there have been numerous reports about his upcoming films, nothing has been officially confirmed. Recently, a report from Peeping Moon indicated that Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan is in preliminary discussions with Salman Khan for a potential collaboration.
Peepingmoon’s report says, “It is Salman Khan’s most commercially oriented script to date. He hasn’t given his nod yet, but should the project move forward, the makers plan to take it on floors towards the end of this year or early next year, after the actor wraps up filming Apoorva’s Galwan-based war drama."
This project would mark the director's debut in Hindi cinema. The film is reportedly being produced by Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband, Atul Agnihotri.
Recently, reports surfaced that Salman Khan has chosen his next film following "Sikandar." After several meetings with directors including Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan, and Raaj Shandilyaa, Salman has reportedly agreed to star in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming project. According to these reports, the film will be an action thriller set in an army backdrop.
Simultaneously, Mahesh Narayanan is occupied with another significant project, a multi-starrer generating buzz even before filming begins. Tentatively named MMMN, the film features prominent Malayalam actors Mammootty and Mohanlal, alongside Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Nayanthara in leading roles.
According to Pinkvilla, Salman Khan and Apoorva Lakhia's upcoming film will be based on the novel "India’s Most Fearless 3" and will be set during the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict. A source told the portal that Apoorva Lakhia and Salman Khan are scheduled to begin filming in July 2025, with the shoot taking place in Ladakh and Mumbai over 70 days. The source added that the film's narrative spans two nights, necessitating the 70-day shooting schedule. It will mark Salman Khan's first time portraying an army officer in a full-length film, and he will be joined by three other actors from the younger generation.
