Salman Khan fails to make an appearance at court; Actor’s Bail under threat?

Salman Khan’s Blackbuck poaching case seems to be going on forever now. According to the recent developments in the on-going case, the Bharat has failed to make an appearance at the Jodhpur court today.

During the last hearing, it was noted that if Salman Khan does not show up in court before or on September 27, his bail may be canceled. The District and Sessions Court in Jodhpur is hearing his appeal against a sessions court verdict that granted him five-year imprisonment. 

According to the reports in ANI, Salman Khan skipped the court summons and did not appear before the court today and that the next date of hearing has been fixed for December. 

The Jodhpur District and Sessions Court has fixed 19th December as the next date of hearing in the case as Salman Khan did not appear before the court.

Meanwhile, he received a death threat from college students which hinted a link to the blackbuck poaching case. 

He was threatened with dire consequences in a social media post, written on the Facebook wall of Student Organisation of Punjab University (Sopu), on September 16. The post emphasized on many issues related to his previous controversial cases which saw the Ek Tha Tiger actor under bad light. It mentioned about, respecting girls, saving animals, and helping the poor. The Facebook post was in reference to Salman’s blackbuck poaching case and it has previously appeared before a scheduled hearing on September 27.
