Salman Khan can finally breathe a sigh of relief as he has been released from the charges pressed against him in 2002 hit and run case.

This afternoon, Bombay HC announced its final judgement on the 13 year old pending case.

Post this the superstar expressed his feelings through his micro blogging account and posted " I accept the decision of the judiciary with humility. I thank my family, friends & fans for their support & prayers ."

Those surely are some kind words by the superstar.

The actor was given a clean chit in the September 28, 2002, accident case by the Bombay High Court here on Thursday, citing lack of evidences. The accident in Bandra left one pavement dweller dead and four others injured.

Delivering the much-awaited verdict, Justice A.R. Joshi said the actor "cannot be convicted" on the basis of the evidences produced by the prosecution in the 13-year-old case and trial.

As reported earlier Salman even seen wiping tears from his eyes courtroom after the judgement was passed.

Fans of Salman Khan are happy with the judgement passed by the Bombay HC. Everyone seems to be in party mood as their 'Bhai' is released.
