Prabhas-starrer "Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire" has emerged victorious at the box office, showcasing its prowess on Christmas Day. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has not only outperformed Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki" in India and worldwide but has also crossed significant milestones in terms of earnings.

On its fourth day of release, Salaar demonstrated its resilience by raking in an estimated Rs 42 crore at the box office. This achievement, coupled with the fact that it triumphed on a Monday, speaks volumes about the film's undeniable appeal. The Rs 42 crore Monday collection surpasses the performances of notable films like Jawan, Leo, and Gadar 2 earlier this year, although it falls just short of the Rs 43 crore earned by Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" on its fourth day.

In India, Salaar's box office collection has now crossed the impressive Rs 250 crore mark after just four days, propelling it towards the coveted Rs 450 crore gross worldwide. For Prabhas, this success marks a triumphant comeback after facing setbacks with high-profile flops post the Baahubali series.

Globally, "Salaar" secured the third position on the weekend box office chart, trailing behind "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" and "Wonka." Notably, Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki," which has garnered around Rs 250 crore worldwide, secured the fourth spot. Despite the tough competition, the comedy drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani showcased resilience by earning a robust Rs 22 crore on its fifth day in theaters, bringing its total Indian collections to Rs 128 crore.

"Salaar" has not only affirmed Prabhas's return to the zenith of success but has also emerged as a formidable contender in the global box office arena.
