Sajid Nadiadwala's home and office raided!

The Income Tax department conducted raids at the house and office of  producer Sajid Nadiadwala, on Tuesday for suspected tax evasion.

The raids began in the morning simultaneously at his Yari Road apartment and office.

According to sources, Ranbir Kapoor, lead of 'Tamasha', was also to be questioned by the Income Tax Department.

The filmmaker, who is the owner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, has delivered a string of money-spinners at the box-office in the last 2 years, including 'Kick', 'Heropanti', '2 States' and Imtiaz Ali's experimental 'Highway'.

His last production, 'Tamasha', however, failed to set the box-office on fire. And ironically, that is when the raid was conducted!
