Sikandar Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Salman Khan’s Action Drama Set for a Strong Opening at Theatres

Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Sikandar is all set to hit the theatres, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Bollywood’s Bhaijaan back on the big screen. With Salman’s track record of delivering massive Eid hits, expectations are sky-high for this action-packed entertainer. During a recent press conference, Salman confidently stated that his fans always ensure his films cross the 200 crore mark, adding to the excitement surrounding the release.

Trade analyst Akshaye Rathi shared his insights with News18 Showsha, predicting that Sikandar could earn around 30 crore on its opening day. He explained, “The expectations for Sikandar are huge because Salman Khan and Eid coming together is synonymous with a blockbuster bonanza at the box office." He further added, “With the combination of Salman Khan, Eid, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, and a director like AR Murugadoss, this film should result in impressive numbers. We are hoping for a bare minimum of 30 crore on Day 1."

Salman Khan’s mass appeal has always played a crucial role in his films' box office performance. Addressing this, Rathi stated, “Salman Khan is one of the biggest mass stars, with a fan following that reaches every corner of India. Even when his films don’t receive great reviews, they still take a solid opening. The fact that Tubelight made 100 crore despite mixed reactions shows his true star power.”

The Hindi film industry has been struggling with a dry spell, but will Sikandar bring back the audience to theatres? Rathi believes that the upcoming months look promising, saying, “With Sikandar, followed by Jaat and Kesari 2, and Hollywood releases like Mission Impossible 2 and Superman, the box office has some exciting times ahead. The real question is which film will be the ultimate blockbuster.”

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. The film also features Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles. With its grand release set for March 30, all eyes are now on its box office numbers!
