"Saif warned me about working with Vijay Varma & Jaideep Ahlawat" - Kareena Kapoor Khan

The trailer of Jaane Jaan just released a while ago and it has managed to have an instant impact owing to it not only being a mystery thriller but also being Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut. 

While it promises to be a taut thriller from the looks of it, what got more and more people excited is the fact that two stalwart actors, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma are also a part of the film.

Interestingly, Kapoor Khan's husband and actor Saif Ali Khan had some interesting titbits to give his wife as she took this film and was set to be working with Varma and Ahlawat.

Talking about the same at the trailer launch, she said, "When I signed the film and Saif came to know that I am going to be working with Jaideep and Vijay, he gave me a lot of pointers. He actually warned me that as you are working with such fine actors, you need to be prepared and ready more than ever. It cannot be one of those instances where you just make-up on and say your dialogues. You will actually need to work very hard and be on your toes during the shoot as well.

She added, "He even told me that you need to stop being the backbencher and work for it (laughs). And I was like, yes! That's true. Because here on set, Jaideep and Vijay will be all ready and prepared, improvising constantly, so I need to be on-guard. But it was nice to have this alertness on the set with such amazing actors doing such a great job and sometimes, I would just see their performance and be in awe. I learnt so much from them."

Interestingly, even though Varma and Ali Khan haven't worked with each other, the latter did the Audible special of Marvel's Wastelanders podcast.

Jaane Jaan is set to release on Netflix on 21st September 2023.
