On January 16, Saif was attacked by an intruder at his Bandra home and was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he had surgery. Just five days later, he was seen walking and waving as he returned home. Many have raised eyebrows about his quick recovery, questioning how he could walk so soon after the operation. In response to the critics, Saif’s sister Saba Pataudi has stepped in to provide an explanation regarding the actor's seemingly rapid healing process.
Saba Pataudi took to her Instagram story to re-share a post by The Filmy Official, that read, “Educate yourselves: Doctor explains reason as people call Saif’s recovery ‘quick’." She encouraged everyone to check the post's caption, where a doctor has addressed concerns about Saif’s recovery.

Sharing a video of his 78-year-old mother walking atter a spine surgery, Dr Deepak said, "People who've had cardiac bypass surgeries. climb stairs on 3rd/4th day...educate yourselves," he added.
After Saif Ali Khan was released from the hospital, some political leaders expressed skepticism about his quick recovery. Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane questioned the validity of the attack, asking if the actor was really stabbed or if he was “acting.” Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam remarked that Saif returned home “jumping and dancing” from the hospital and wanted to understand how serious the attack on him truly was.
