Saif Ali Khan on resuming work amid COVID-19 pandemic: It is almost like working at a Hospital

Saif Ali Khan is one of the most gifted actors Bollywood has received. In a career span of more than 2 decades, he has done it all adding new dimensions to his filmography, Saif has made his mark in the industry. 

The actor has now resumed working amid the new normal as the government is trying to curb the coronavirus scare. During a recent interaction with The Quint, he compared working on the sets to working in hospitals

Saif is reportedly shooting for Bhoot Police in Dharamshala and will soon be joined by his wife, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their son Taimur.

You know, actors can’t wear masks and the film set is a very dangerous environment at this time. But most people I have worked with have made really big efforts. People are trying their best, but it’s still dangerous. These are tricky times and I feel actors definitely deserve credit for this. During the lockdown, we quietly sat at home for six months, wasted our lives, and lost our time. But now when the government is saying go out and work to support the economy, we are in the frontline again. It’s a high-risk profession, almost like working at a hospital.

Meanwhile, wife Kareena recently spilled the details about her and hubby Saif Ali Khan’s Diwali celebrations and added that their son Taimur will ring in the festival of lights in Dharamshala, away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai.
