Saif Ali Khan Attack: As actor and Kareena face conspiracy theories; Ram Gopal Varma comes to the rescue

Saif Ali Khan’s attack was one of the most shocking incidents to happen in the history of Bollywood. Even as the actor got discharged from the Lilavati Hospital after operations near his spinal cord, the conspiracy theories just do not seem to end. People are having a million questions regarding how were the suspects arrested to who actually saw the intruder at the first glance. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have recorded their statements separately. But it seems there are some inconsistencies and the cops have to do a joint interrogation of the couple. All sorts of theories are floating on social media about what could have happened that night.

Now, Ram Gopal Varma has posted on X that the police should take an initiative to end such gossip. He said that Mumbai Police could do a briefing from time to time so that the endless speculations can end. He also shared a reference of a case from the US that held national interest much like Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing. Fans said that sense of accountability tends to be lesser in India in public space, which is sad. There are numerous theories and some are quite distasteful.

Ram Gopal Varma was the producer of Darna Mana Hai and Ek Hasina Thi two films starring Saif Ali Khan. In fact, Ek Hasina Thi is considered as one of his best works. There are reports that finger prints of a number of people have been found in the room where the intruder was but none of them matches that of the suspect. Kareena Kapoor Khan was away partying at Rhea Kapoor’s place and got home late. It seems the nanny saw the attacker first and alerted others. Saba Pataudi has written a note of thanks for the two women who safeguarded the kids. In the middle of all this, reports suggest that Saif Ali Khan is all set to lose rights over the Pataudi Estate in Bhopal.
