#SahiHai: 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' does the 'Nayi Soch' right with this moment of realization

It is such little things that indeed make the Television space a worthy watch.

Star Plus has always been ahead in promoting the 'Nayi Soch' by bringing to fore issues that are never talked about in the open, and more often than not, take a backseat amidst the so called important issues.

One such scene that the show managed to bring to surface is when Naitik stood up for daughter Naira (Shivangi Joshi) at Goenka's after knowing the treatment that is meted out to her in the house.

The Scene:

Naitik walks into Goenka mansion and looking at him, Naira rushes up to him in order to give him a hug. Naitik adores Naira's face while Karthik (Mohsin Khan) stands behind her, still, and Naitik chooses to not talk to him.

He walks up to Dadiji, who is rather surprised to see him paying them a visit, and questions if everything is fine, and if Keerti (Mohena Singh) is okay. Without answering any question, or saying anything further, Naitik, in a rather high pitched tone states how their daughter is totally okay but his daughter isn't because she isn't treated right in the family.

Surprised by this, the two of them indulge in some argument, and despite being the girl's father, he stands strong on his ground and in order to not let any such thing hinder her future, he decided to name some property in Naira and Karthik's name, which of course isn't taken well by the family.

What we liked:

The point here isn't how Naitik decides to name a house, office and other property in his son-in-law's name, but how he being the daughter's father still does not withholds himself from talking for what's right and what is needed.

It is not every day that you see such a thing, because this definitely was not just another stunt to add drama to the track, but something that was well-thought and well-planned.
