S. S Rajamouli says "I am on top of the world" as Avatar director James Cameron praises RRR

SS Rajamouli's ‘RRR’ is winning big awards on the different prestigious global platforms. The movie received the Best Foreign Language Film honour at the 2023 Critics' Choice Awards after winning the Golden Globe for Best Song. Well now, the filmmaker is on cloud seven as he received praises for his film RRR from non other then the Avatar director James Cameron.

James Cameron recently complimented "RRR" and spoke with director SS Rajamouli about the movie when they met at the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards. Sharing pictures from their interaction, Rajamouli wrote, 

“The great James Cameron watched RRR.. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her.🙏🏻🙏🏻 Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD... Thank you both.”

Additionally, MM Keeravani recently won the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) Best Music Score Award.

Well according to American journalist Anne Thompson, the filmmaker of "Avatar: They Way of Water," James Cameron, is a fan of the film. She tweeted, "RRR wins best foreign film at CCA — every bit of awareness helps get more folks to watch it! I introduced myself to S.S. Rajamouli and my tablemate Jim Cameron admires the movie too." The official Twitter handle of ‘RRR’ movie posted the tweet and wrote, "James Cameron admires RRR...LOVE YOUU SIRRR @JimCameron #RRRMovie."

To which Alia Bhatt who played Sita in RRR expressed her gratitude. Taking to her Instagram account Alia shared Anne's tweet and  wrote, "Ufff what a beautiful morning"

Indeed its a beautiful morning for all of us as the team RRR is creating a huge buzz globally and we couldn't have been more proud.
