If you've ever wondered how far the concept of making exceptions for celebrities can go – here's a brand new piece of gossip to take you by surprise.

Busy with the shooting of Sanjay Dutt's home co-production with Rupali Aum Entertainment, Rascals, inthe Thai capital Bangkok, the cast and crew lead by David Dhawan recently exceeded their permissible time limit while shooting a climax sequence on the runway of the city's international airport. The said scenes involved actors Sanjay and Ajay to be dressed as Santa Clauses riding fancy bikes – and resulted in more retakes than had been anticipated. Consequently, when the crew requested of the authorities to be granted extra time to wrap up the scene that same day, permission was duly given; the incoming flights in the meanwhile were asked to circle around for the time that David's team took to pack up from their shoot on the runway.

The film makers have been heard expressing deep gratitude towards the Thai authorities thereafter, to have been allowed such convenience, which they candidly state might hardly have been possible had the shooting been slotted for an Indian airport.

While the gesture may seem considerate with regard to the filming team, one can't help but debaqte over the fairness of such allowance, objectively speaking, in upholding flights that were due in the delay period.
