Rohit Purohit on COMPARISONS between YRKKH & Hania Aamir's Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum: Have NO idea about THAT SHOW

Rohit Purohit, who is currently heading Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Samridhii Shukla, recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and reacted to the current track of the show being very similar to the superhit Pakistani drama 'Kabhi main kabhi tum' starring Fahad Mustafa and Hania Aamir.

In a conversation with India Forums, the actor reacted to the said comparisons and stated that he has not watched the show. ''Nahi aap ne mujhe bataya toh, uss show ki maine kuch clips dekhi hai. I do not know uss show ki storyline kya hai, bas itna pata hai ke wo ladka ladki sath rehte hai and uska jo comparison chal raha hai, I do not know. Itna jarur pata hai ke wo jo jodi hai wo bahut popular hai aur logo ne bahut pasand kiya hai us show ko. Similarily, humare show ko bhi bahut pasand kar rahe hai log. Toh do log jab sath mein rahenge aur apni nayi duniya banayenge toh similar toh hoga hi, kahi na kahi kisi na kisi se match hoga hi. Jaise maine aapko apni story batayi thi, toh hota hoga comparison, I have no idea about that show,'' says Rohit.

Earlier speaking to us about his initial phase in Mumbai, Rohit had recalled staying in a house even smaller than Armaan Poddar's current bathroom. The actor said, ''Jab main utra toh main soch raha tha ke Mumbai main kya soch kar aaya tha aur hume aisi jagah rehna padega, aur then jab humko room mila, I think jitna is ghar mein hum reh rahe hai, yahan ke bathroom jitna woh room tha. Aur us room mein bhi literally wo itna bada tha ke aadhe ghar mein DJ ka samaan rakha hua tha. Toh mere paas bas itni jagah thi ke wahan do log bas so sake., sirf let sake itna tha. One room mein bhi half room owner ne apne paas rakha tha kyunki usne ekdum 2-3k mein humko wo room de diya tha.''
