Working with someone senior from one’s field of work is usually a learning process. Actor Robin Sohi recently went through a similar situation while working with veteran actor Arun Bakshi in Ajooni.

“I am playing the negative lead in Ajooni, and my father in the show is Arun Bakshi. He is a very senior actor, and we have grown up seeing his films. He has played many characters, and today I am really happy to be working with him. He is a down-to-earth person and makes his co-actors very comfortable around him. I am enjoying every bit of this process,” says Robin, who did films like Ekta, Raja Abroadiya, Lafangey Nawab, and TV shows Sanjeevani 2, Naagin 6, Tere Dil Vich Rehan De.

The actor further adds that the senior actor does not have any air about himself and is very supportive. He is always motivating everyone to do better.

“We are really enjoying this show. Our director Yogesh Bijendra Bhati, the sir, is also very supportive, and my current track is really going great, and people love it. It is really great to work with Arun, sir. His best role was in Jo Bole So Nihaal, which starred Sunny Deol. Arun sir played the sarpanch in the film, and his one-liners like Ha Bhai Romeo... and all were really amazing. He told me that it was not in the script, he just did it, and the director also liked it,” he shares.
