Roadies 18 Winner Nandini: Ashish is a very talented boy and me pairing up with him was a win

‘MTV Roadies - Journey in South Africa’, India’s biggest adventure reality television show, crowned for the first time ever not just one but two winners! After several weeks of challenges, eliminations, twists and turns across the breath-taking vistas of South Africa, buddy pair Ashish Bhatia and Nandini have emerged as the ‘Ultimate Champions’ of the new season.  India Forums got in touch with Nandini to know more about her winning moment and her journey on the show. 

1) Congratulations on the win, what do have to say? 

Thank you , I want to say that this journey was like a competition with myself than against any contestant and I’ve Proved myself every single day . I played with my heart, made few friends and stuck with them and most importantly I performed every task and gave it my all. Lastly I dint forget to have fun throughout my journey.

2) How was Ashish as a partner and how did the journey go with him?

Ashish is a very talented boy and me pairing up with him was a win win for both is us. We loved to perform with each other.

3) 3 Favourite moments from the journey?

The fact that I was on the show with Jash (my boyfriend) itself was the best thing that could ever happen. We were there for each other no matter what the situation was. This journey had definitely gotten us closer and also made our bond strong .There was this 7hrs long ride from one campsite to another in South Africa and I was the only girl who finished the entire ride against the storms, rains, weather changes and off-roads is something I’ll always cherish think all those times when Sonu sir kept pulling my leg for my Hindi, for my laugh, for me shivering out of cold , teasing me and Jash between tasks and mainly him teaching us through his life examples are some moments which will remain with me. 

4) Tell us how were the nerves during that victory moment?

OMG! I was that little kid who watched roadies on TV and dreamt of it. And now I get the trophy from the same show that I was inspired from like I can’t believe this just happened . But looking at the performance and the game I’ve played I’m proud of myself . 

5) How has life changed after roadies?

Wow people will now add Roadie to my name yahooooo! Apart from that Roadies has Boosted my confidence in life and also made me believe that dreams do come true only if you keep working towards it.

6) Lastly where are we seeing you next and message to your fans?

I really want to do another reality show as I now know what exactly goes behind making a show successful. Also, I enjoy it . Hopefully I get a chance to be part of Bigboss Kannada.
