Rishi Kapoor celebrated his return from New York after 11 months of treatment. The actor withstood cancer and he is all set to get back in the game. He had decided to start working as soon as he lands in Mumbai reported Mumbai Mirror. He said, “The moment I get back, I will take 15 days off to connect with my roots, get over the jet lag and by end of September, I will start shooting.”
Now that the Bobby actor is already pumped up to get back in action, he will be resume shooting for The Body which stars Emraan Hashmi, and Vedhika. Back in September 2018, the veteran actor had already completed a major part of his shoot and reports in Mumbai Mirror have confirmed that the makers hope to complete the patchwork and get started on the dubbing.
Producer Sunir Kheterpal explained, “We’re planning to begin towards the end of this month or beginning of October based on the schedule of the actors. We’ll soon finalise the dates and announce the release date in concurrence with the Studio.”
Many actors are eager to join hands with Rishi for his home production and one of the major contenders is reported to be Sanjay Dutt. He has been looking forward to partner with Rishi for a comedy titled Pandit Galli Ka Ali, which will be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh.
During an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, the filmmaker said, “It’s too early to comment on the film as Rishi sir has just returned to India. I have been in constant touch with both Sanju sir and Rishi sir since the last few months. I am looking forward to seeing him back at work.”
“It will roll this year itself, before he starts work on Pandit Galli Ka Ali,” reports Mumbai Mirror. Apart from the above mentioned films, Rishi has liked several other subjects and will sign a new film within a fortnight.
