Rinku Singh, Priya Saroj get engaged; Jaya Bachchan, Akhilesh Yadav, Rajeev Shukla and others attend the event

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh who has been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders since years got engaged today. The function happened at Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. Priya Saroj his fiancée is an MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Samajwadi Party from the Machhilishahr seat. Around 300 VVIP guests attended the function. Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple were one of the first to arrive. Jaya Bachchan was also seen dressed in an Indian pink silk saree. For the function, the venue was decked in white and pink roses. Bubbles were released to make it a dreamier affair. The song O Mahi O Mahi played as they exchanged rings.

Priya Saroj chose a baby pink lehenga for the function. It was made of organza/chiffon with embroidery done all over it. She teamed with emerald jewels. Priya kept her lovely tresses open pining them from the side. The lady opted for dewy makeup and soft brown lips. On the other hand, Rinku Singh was in a white short sherwani. When they exchanged rings, Priya Saroj got emotional and began to cry.

We can see that Rinku Singh proudly held her hand and flaunted the rings. Jaya Bachchan was seen with BCCI chief Rajeev Shukla. The captain of Uttar Pradesh's Ranji Team Aryan Juyal, Piyush Chawla and Praveen Kumar were present to cheer for Rinku. Coming from an economically disadvantaged background, Rinku Singh was taken under the wings of KKR. Shah Rukh Khan is very fond of him.

We already have Ravindra Jadeja whose wife Rivaba is a BJP politician in Gujarat. Now, Rinku Singh is another case of cricket meets politics. We congratulate the couple on this new journey.
