In a recent turn of events, the AIIMS team in its report to CBI has ruled out the theories of poisoning and strangling floated by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and lawyer. The NDTV report also mentioned that the agency is likely to probe the "abetment to suicide" charge as levelled by Sushant's father KK Singh in the FIR at Bihar Police.

For the uninitiated, the FIR was filed by Sushant’s father for abetment of suicide at Rajiv Nagar Police Thana in Patna.

Now, Rhea’s lawyer, Adv. Satish Maneshinde in his statement said, “I have seen the statement of the doctors from AIIMS concerning SSR case. The official papers and reports are only with AIIMS and CBI which will be submitted in court once investigations are over. We await the official version of CBI.”

“We on behalf of Rhea Chakraborty have always said that truth cannot be changed under any circumstances. The speculations against Rhea in some quarters of the Media are motivated and mischievous. We remain committed to Truth Alone. Satya Meva Jayte,” he added.

CBI is reportedly checking all the angles including murder. However, the agency studied each and every angle carefully and had decided to consult a team of AIIMS for its medico-legal opinion on the post-mortem of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his Mumbai apartment. Though the Mumbai police, based on the autopsy, called it a suicide. The wild speculations followed by the pool of rumors and allegations on social media from SSR’s family raised doubts that became a part of an overall CBI investigation.
