Ravi Teja has been riding on a success streak with two back-to-back blockbusters in ""Dhamaka"" and ""Walter Veeraya"". The star is set to make his grand Bollywood debut with the remake of the Tamil blockbuster "Maanaadu." According to reports, the film will be remade in Telugu and Hindi, with Ravi Teja and Varun Dhawan playing the lead roles.

For the unversed Tamil film "Maanaadu," for its unique time loop structure and central narrative conceit, which received critical acclaim and was a huge box office success. The makers of the Hindi and Telugu versions are currently working on adapting the script to cater to the sensibilities of audiences from the respective industries. Additionally, the film is expected to be mounted on a much larger scale compared to the original, and some tweaks in the screenplay may be made to suit the big canvas.

While the director for the Hindi and Telugu versions has not been confirmed yet, the article suggests that this project will be one of the most anticipated bilingual films to come out of Bollywood if the rumours turn out to be true.

With dubbed versions of his successful Telugu films, Ravi Teja has amassed a sizeable fan base in Hindi. His successful Hindi remakes, including "Kick" with Salman Khan, went on to have a significant influence at the box office. Varun Dhawan, meanwhile, has been vocal in recent interviews about his love of southern cinema and wants to work in the genre. This would be the perfect project for their reunion.
