The highly anticipated film '83,' starring Ranveer Singh, will be screened at a travelling cinema hall in Ladakh, billed as the world's highest mobile theatre. In August of this year, a private company, PictureTime Digiplex, installed Ladakh's first inflatable cinema in the union territory.

The company built the theatre in Leh and claimed it was the highest altitude theatre in the world, standing at 11,562 feet above sea level.

'

83,' directed by Kabir Khan, will be released not only in PictureTime's Ladakh theatre but also in Hisar, Haryana, and Arunachal Pradesh, where the company has installed more mobile theatres.

"My happiness knows no bounds... '83' will be shown in Ladakh starting tomorrow at Picturetime's inflatable theatre, the world's highest at 11,562 feet. This is incredible. I'm excited to see how the audience reacts to my film. Ladakh not only has a special place in our film, but it also holds a special place in my heart because I spent months trekking there during my college days. This is truly unique "Khan made the announcement in a statement.

'

83' chronicles India's victory under Kapil Dev's captaincy in 1983, when the team defeated West Indies in the final to win their first World Cup trophy.

The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 24.

The film's cast includes actors Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree.

Shibasish Sarkar, the film's producer and former Reliance Entertainment group CEO, described '83' as a "labour of love."

"83' is a labour of love for us. We would love for everyone to see this film, and I'm overjoyed that it will be able to reach the interiors of this country, where a good cinema watching experience is still a distant dream, thanks to PictureTime's inflatable theatre "He stated.

Sushil Chaudhary, Founder & CEO of Picturetime, stated that bringing "83" to Ladakh is an honour for him and his company.

"The vision has always been to bring newly released films to the country's cinema screen-deprived regions on the day of their release. With the screening of a film as large as life as '83,' this is a watershed moment for us "He continued.
