Ranjit Chowdhry's Sibling Quasar Opens Up on His Death

Recently a media portal got in touch with Chowdhry's sibling, Quasar and here's what was known from it. Quasar said, The passing away of Ranjit is very unfortunate. We admitted him to a hospital on Monday night; he had developed sudden complications in his intestine. He was operated upon immediately on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the surgery didn't work and he left us on Wednesday."

It did come across as quite a shock when a couple of days ago it was confirmed that character actor Ranjit Chowdhry, who was best known for his roles in films like Khatta Meetha, Baaton Baaton Mein and Khoobsurat among others passed away at the age of 65.

Apart from that and several other films, Chowdhry also appeared in a two-episode cameo on the show, The Office. Recently a media portal got in touch with Chowdhry's sibling, Quasar and here's what was known from it. Quasar said, The passing away of Ranjit is very unfortunate. We admitted him to a hospital on Monday night; he had developed sudden complications in his intestine. He was operated upon immediately on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the surgery didn't work and he left us on Wednesday."

When asked if situation was tougher owing to coronavirus fiasco, he said it was indeed tough as "just one person was allowed outside the ICU. ICUs are always strict but in view of the Coronavirus, they've become stricter."

Indeed it is a sad time and we just hope that his soul rests in peace.
