Rani - Vidya share cold vibes?

Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan have not been seen hand in hand on the sets of Rajkumar Gupta's newest project titled No One Killed Jessica. Buzz has it that during shooting schedules, Rani remains optionally reclusive, thereby minimizing any sort of social interactions with others on the sets, including co star Vidya.  At pack up, she prefers retiring to her van and sharing an after-a-long-day conversation with her mother on phone than anything else.


It has obviously been noticed how Rani and Vidya communicate only during scenes and thereafter move their own ways as soon as the camera stops rolling.


Rani apparently has put herself to task over this one and only project in hand at the moment. Many-a-times, she is seen interacting with director Rajkumar Gupta between shots and giving various professional and creative inputs. This seems to have not gone down well with co star Vidya, who is displeased with the situation.


Another reason for the informal cold war between the colleagues has been pegged as jealousy. Vidya's current position is very strong and after the success of Paa and Ishqiya, she is much in demand amongst producers. On the other hand, the veteran Rani Mukherjee has not seen much success recently.


If No One Killed Jessica becomes successful, it will be no less than a miracle drug for Rani a revival from the lull that has persisted around her in the past 3 years wherein none of her movies have left any impression at the box office.


Here's raising a toast to a much needed success for Rani. Meanwhile, these ladies sure need to grow up and beyond the cold waves!
