Anupamaa: Moti Baa and Raghav share a shocking past as their presence haunts each other

Star Plus' Anupamaa recently introduced two new characters, Raghav, played by Manish Goel, and Mohit, portrayed by Randeep Rai. Interestingly, both share a mysterious past connection with the Kotharis and Anupama, which is yet to be revealed. While Raghav's ties link him to both Anupama and Rahi, Mohit has a history with the Kothari family. Additionally, it appears that Raghav may also have a connection with Moti Baa, adding another layer of intrigue to the unfolding story.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, a photo of Anupama with central jail inmates, police officers, and a minister goes viral. Seeing this, Rahi excitedly shares the picture with the Kotharis, pointing out Anupama's presence at the jail's annual function. However, as Parag and Moti Baa examine the image, Moti Baa's expression changes drastically when she notices the jail inmates, especially Raghav. Her reaction suggests she is hiding a truth connected to the prison or Raghav.

In recent episodes, Moti Baa has repeatedly displayed panic and dizziness whenever the topic of jail has come up, hinting at a deeper fear. This time, upon seeing the photo, she is visibly shaken, clutching her chest in distress before losing consciousness. The family rushes to her aid, taking her to her room while Rahi is left wondering what in the picture could have triggered such a reaction.

Meanwhile, as the Kotharis join the Shahs for the Navratri celebrations, Raghav, who is currently staying at Anu Ki Rasoi, assists Anupama and her team by repairing a gas stove. At the Shah house, Moti Baa begins the aarti, her voice filling the space. As she sings, Raghav suddenly freezes upon hearing her, placing a hand on his ear as if recognising the voice and feeling a deep sense of fear. Compelled to find the source, he follows the voice to the Shah house, where he spots the family. Anupama notices his presence and immediately becomes tense, sensing the unfolding drama.

Meanwhile, Raghav faces hostility from his neighbourhood, with residents labelling him a criminal and forcing him to flee. He collapses near Anupama's house, where she steps in to protect him from an enraged mob. Despite warnings from her family, she stands by him, arguing that he has already served his sentence.

Elsewhere, Prem is heartbroken over his burnt memories, while Mohit opens up about his difficult past. Meanwhile, Parag worries about Prem's safety, and suspicions arise that the person who attacked Rahi may also be targeting Prem.

At the Shah house, Leela vehemently opposes Anupama's decision to help Raghav. Despite the family's resistance, Anupama refuses to abandon him, even as neighbours gossip about her intentions. She takes Raghav inside, angering Leela, who warns that she will regret this decision.
