Randeep Hooda to relive his dark and sinister role with "Laal Rang 2"

In Syed Ahmad Afzal's "Laal Rang 2," a follow-up to the 2016 film "Laal Rang," Randeep Hooda is expected to reprise his role as Shankar.

The Haryana-based dark comedy drama "Laal Rang" centred on the blood trade industry, with Shankar (Randeep) portrayed as the proprietor of an illicit blood bank.

Taking to his social media account Randeep shared the announcement with his fans. Sharing the poster of the film on his Instagram account, he wrote, "ये लो!! हवा मै प्रणाम 🙏"

According to a report from Etimes, Randeep shed light on his role and donning the cap of a producer, he said that Shankar Malik is one character that will always stay close to his heart and the film even after seven years stays relevant and has a dedicated fan-base to it.

He further continued saying that this is what has compelled him to embark on this new journey as a producer too with a lot of joy and a sense of responsibility towards it. 

For the unversed, Akshay Oberoi and Pia Bajpiee will also reprise their roles from the first part. The search is on for the new additions to the second part.
