Rana Naidu 2: Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati's web series to tone down its language after complaints?

Rana Naidu 2 was announced in 2023 after the success of the first season. Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati starred in the series, which was adapted from Ray Donovan. Telugu star Venkatesh is basking in the success of Sankranthiki Vasuntham. The movie was about a man who has to suddenly live with his wife and former girlfriend. At the success meet of Sankranthiki Vasuntham, Venkatesh was asked about Rana Naidu 2. He said that the show would soon have its second season. He revealed that keeping in mind the complaints of the viewers they have decided to tone down the language.

When Rana Naidu was out on Netflix, it faced a lot of backlash from traditional fans of the actor. Venkatesh always had the image of a family star. People were in shocked hearing the abuses in Rana Naidu and the excessive violence and sexual content. Rana Daggubati said the series had a A certificate and people had been warned not to treat it like a Sankranthi family entertainer. In the movie, Sankranthiki Vasuntham, the child artiste Revath is shown using strong language whenever he is angry. It is said that he watches too many of web series and OTT shows. Many felt it was a dig at Rana Naidu in a funny manner.

Venkatesh was amazing in the series breaking away from his comical avatar. He said Rana convinced him to take up the role. Rana Daggubati was in the role of a fixer who bails out his celebrity clients. His father Naga Naidu (Venkatesh) is released from jail and all hell breaks loose in the family. Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman had directed the entire series. Rana Daggubati’s chat show is also getting immense from viewers. He has brought guests like Naga Chaitanya, Sreeleela, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli and lot more people.
