Ram Charan to team up with Kill director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat for a big budget mythological film?

Game Changer is hands down one of the biggest debacles for filmmaker S Shankar who is truly having a torrid time at the box office. However, Ram Charan has his kitty full of exciting projects. One of them is reportedly with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, who made Dharma Movies’ Kill. The film that had Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala was a genre-bender in the action space with its gritty pace and brutal action sequences. Kill shone at film festivals the world over and did well at the box office too. Now, a South portal has reported that Nikhil Nagesh Bhat might do a mythological movie with Ram Charan. They are in advanced talks for the same.

Madhu Mantena who has produced films like Queen, Super 30, Bombay Velvet will be financing the film. Ram has been talking with Nikhil for over six months. As we know, he is doing a Buchi Babu Sana film with Janhvi Kapoor too. Madhu Mantena had plans to present Ramayana before Namit Malhotra took up the whole project solely under his banner DNEG. The film has the backdrop of a big character from Indian mythology. The initial scripting and visualization is over. Ram Charan is soon expected to come on board.

Murad Khetani the producer of Kabir Singh has also signed on Nikhil Nagesh Bhat for a movie. Ram Charan is also in talks with many directors including Sukumar of Pushpa fame. He is writing his script for his next. Ramayana was supposed to be made by Madhu Mantena, Nitish Tiwari, Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra. However, they had creative differences and decided to part ways. Ram Charan’s movies on satellite are also popular in the Hindi belt.
