The actor has now clarified his stance, explaining his actual intent behind the response.

The controversy began when social media users started discussing Madhavan’s interactions with young girls. Some accused him of replying to messages with heart and kiss emojis. The buzz quickly caught the attention of the actor, who decided to clarify the matter at a recent event.

During the event, Madhavan revealed what actually happened. He shared that he receives countless messages from fans on social media. Recently, a young fan messaged him, saying, "I saw this movie. I really loved it. I thought you're a fabulous actor. Well done. You motivate me," along with hearts and kiss emojis.

The actor, touched by the fan’s appreciation, replied, "Thank you so much. Very kind of you. God bless you." However, the fan later posted a screenshot of his response, which led to misinterpretations. People assumed he was engaging in personal conversations with young girls.

Clarifying the situation, Madhavan firmly stated, "My intention was not to reply to the emojis. My intent was to reply to her message." He expressed disappointment over how social media can twist narratives, saying, "People only see the emoji and assume ‘Ohh, Maddy is talking to young girls.’" He further highlighted how social media can be misused to damage reputations and spread misinformation.

He concluded by saying that if a well-established actor like him must be extremely careful about his online interactions, it’s even tougher for those without experience in handling such situations.
