"I want to play all type of roles.": Sahedev Gireesh

Tellybuzz got in touch with Sahedev Gireesh who is seen in many films and commercials as well as many television shows. Currently, he is playing the role of Nikki's father in Disney Channel's show Best of Luck, Nikki. Let's have a look on what he said..

How is it playing a father of 4 kids in the show Best of Luck, Nikki?
It has been a great experience so far. I was not much excited when I took up the show, but I am enjoying as well as proud to be a part of this show now. The show is amazing and the story line is very good. The audience response towards the show is also very good. The show has gone beyond my expectation and I am very happy.

You are shown quite old in the show whereas in real life you are not. What do you have to say?
For an actor it is important to be flexible. In real life I am in my mid-30's but in the show I am just shown a bit more elder. It is not a problem at all. Audience has accepted me and that is what matters for me. My work should be appreciated, it shouldn't be like I am working for the sake of working, but there should be productivity too. Tell us about the small baby Nikki?
She is very spontaneous and quick learner. Even though she is just a kid she is totally understands the techniques of acting. She knows when the camera is rolling and she has to act. Sometimes we elder actors forget our lines but she never does forget her scenes. She is very intelligent and hats off to her. I have done many a films and my experience has been superb. I love doing films. My last 2 films - Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dabbang2 were a good and enjoyable experience for me. 2012 was a good year for me as I got to do two hit movies with amazing actors. It is not about mediums but about priority of the actor and the role. It depends on the need of the actor in any show or film. But you can say that, I like cinema very much. The role of Vijay Dina Nath Chauhan played by the veteran ace actor Amitabh Bachchanji, from the movie Agneepath.

Your upcoming projects?
I will be seen in many upcoming films like Ramleela by Sanjay Leela Bansali, Satyagrah etc. I was also offered 7 projects by SAB TV but I refused as they were all comedy. I want to explore and play all types of role not just comedy. When people remember me than it shouldn't be through comedy only.
An attitude with which you walk in life?
Be flexible in all kinds of situation and make each and every moment of your life Productive, Memorable and Proud.
