Desi fans of BTS impress netizens busting anti-India talk; fellow Indians say, 'Exponential 7 gang' '

India – Pakistan war is giving sleepless nights to our citizens. We can only pray for those serving our motherland at the border and our brothers. Today, Pakistan has attacked cities like Amritsar, Ferozepur, Barmer, Jammu, Kupwara, Jalandhar and more. Some of the attacks are not on military bases but in areas where civilians reside. As of now, there is a blackout in Jammu. People are living in fear for their loved ones who stay in these cities or towns. We can see how close the drones are flying over the cities. The Indian Air Defence has intercepted most of them much to the relief of people. There is one more on social media.

In the middle of all this, there is also a very strong anti-India rhetoric on social media. It is being spread through TikTok in the western world. Indian fans of BTS have now taken matters into their own hands. They are using VPN to counter these lies and sharing details of how Indians have suffered due to terrorism in past few decades. Fans of BTS who use the number 7 on their profiles are doing their best to counter such negative campaigns about India. They have slammed everyone who has compared India to Israel or tried to describe Pakistan as Palestine.

This is not the first time that Indian BTS fans have proved themselves as true patriots. They made donations during COVID-19 to help people as well as the Kerala floods. BTS fans also chipped in when Kaziranga National Park was devastated due to the Assam floods. Given that the majority of Indian netizens on X come across as homophobic, they have always been ridiculed. But BTS fans are pros when it comes to defending their boys against hate trains. Now, desi BTS fans are using that same knowledge, skills, targeted positioning to counter the bad PR of India on some platforms.
