"I am busy with films at present" - Ragini Khanna

Excited about her first Punjabi film which is due to release in November, Ragini is also keen on doing television if time permits.

There has been news that she has been approached for the reality show Bigg Boss Season 7 and also for a fiction show on Life OK. However, the bubbly actress who was last seen doing a full fledged fiction Sasural Genda Phool on TV refutes all this news as rumors. "My Punjabi film 'Bhaji in Problem' is due for release on 15th November and I will be busy with the promotions of the same. It is produced by Akshay Kumar who has been actively involved in the making of it. I will be expected to be with the team during the release of the film and I cannot take up anything new till I am free from it," clarifies Ragini.

She is not seen much on Television too these days and has purposely kept herself busy hosting non-fiction shows. After co-hosting Jhalak Dikhla Jaa with Manish Paul last year she was seen as a co-host with Rithvik Dhanjani for India's Best Dramebaaz. "I was shooting for my film and thus had deliberately not taken up television projects which would require full time commitment. There were offers coming in almost daily and even though they were tempting I could not take them up."

Ragini was seen in Life OK's reality show Welcome Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi ki but is not so keen on doing reality now, "I cannot do shows like Bigg Boss as they are not my cup of tea. Also I cannot do shows where I have to have a partner as I cannot fake a relationship just for doing some show. However, I am itching to do fiction and act!"

So is it true that she is coming in a new show on Life OK? "I have been offered couple of projects but as I said I cannot do anything before my film releases. I have another Punjabi film in hand and a Hindi film project might materialize too. Till those things are clear I cannot commit to any television fiction show. Let's wait and watch as to what happens after the release of my Punjabi film... sometimes the projects get delayed or the producers are ready to wait so the television show may happen too. It is all a case of getting the timing right!"
